The 5th Annual Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby will roll off Saturday May 21st 2011 at the Trenton Avenue Arts Festival. This design competition and parade of human powered vehicle floats celebrates art and human powered transit! The arts festival will have live local music, food, Philadelphia Brewing Company beer, and over 100 arts and crafts vendors from all over Philadelphia. The derby rolls out at 12 noon. Prizes for derby winners include A Breezer bicycle, gift certificates to local businesses like Johnny Brenda’s Tavern, Old City Coffee, Chris Wright Cycles and more.
