In our bow to West coast coffee culture, we offer this spirited, gutsy blend of 60% Sumatra, 40% French Roast for those who enjoy full-bodied, dark coffee. Probably not available in San Francisco.
This Blend is popular for it's heavy body and rich flavor.
The Sumatra is very low on "acidity", so the overall personality is very smooth. The French roast component gives this brew (Bourbon El Salvador) a distinct and satisfying bottom end. If you want more "fruity" notes I would suggest the "Balzac Blend", same as this but with the addition of Ethiopia Harrar.If you do not care for dark roast but want rich low acid-I would suggest the medium roast Sumatra.
