This excellent organic and shade grown estate Colombian is brought to you by the same farm which produces the excellent and acclaimed Mesa De Los Santos. Unlike that coffee, which is of the newer variety Typica, this coffee is 100% Bourbon, one of the oldest varieties in existence.

This variety is rarely found to as the sole variety of a crop anymore, as Caturras, Typicas, and other varieties have become more dominant. This Bourbon crop is grown in a separate area of the Mesa De Los Santos estate, processed seperately, and will take our palettes back 50 or 100 years when Bourbon ruled south and central American coffee!

Mesa Do Los Santos is one of the first coffee farms in Colombia to grow organic coffee, and the first to be certified bird friendly by the Smithsonian. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, this farm is certified by the Rainforest Alliance, rewarding the efforts of this farm a wholistic approach regarding sustainability issues.
